Dark Thoughts

So I'm sitting here listening to whatever Pandora can throw at me, wondering how best to throw down that which plagues my mind.

People.

They're animals. Stupid, panicky, predatory, all-consuming, greedy. Did you know that Alexander the Great had a general loathing of humanity? I feel like him, except unable to muster the resources to conquer. I can babble on about this shit as much as I want, but it won't change much.

People. Yes, well, as I said, they are animals. Content only to live through and exclusively for the senses. 'Barbarians' in modern culture. They don't eat like starving lizards; they don't visibly rape and pillage, setting fires and salting fields. But they hunger for dignity. To the point where they stumble over each other in order to get wealthier in power. It's sickening. While congress argues over who can get married, Solar energy R&D goes untouched. They whine about the gulf spill when in truth we never should have been there at all. Iraq? Don't even get me started. We'll save that one for later at least. Doctors don't research cures, they research treatments. Cancer will never be purged, only ever used as a means of extortion. Anyone will choose treatment over death.

It's still all about the individual, not the greater good. I see through it. I can only live my own life the same way until opportunity arrives.

My dream is that world catastrophe strikes. I want to see the skyscrapers of Hong Kong and L.A. crumble. I want to see just punishment for this savage race of insects. I will see heroes rise from the ruins of the old world of super highways and media centers. I will see the true man step forth to claim his hold on this tiny planet.

What the bible doesn't tell you is that the snake feasted on Eve when she was nice and fat from apples.
