Today I wanted to remind everyone of the horrors that humankind continuously inflicts on the planet, and each other:
We destroy the land with radioactivity, we deforest, we suck oil out of the land, we clear huge plots of land for shopping malls that will fail in our next economic crisis, and we slaughter every living thing that gets in our way. We gobble up delicious poisons devoid of nutrition, we dilute the intelligence and ability of our own children, we demand results with unpredictable outcomes, and then selfishly point fingers at others free ourselves from blame. We tacitly comply with systems of greed designed solely to rid us of our wealth and confidence. We divide, destroy, conquer, consume, and correct, all in vain. Ultimately we think that we can cut corners to avoid the natural course of all things, and we pay dearly for it.
If the world cannot learn harmony, then it will learn suffering.
